The Corner #Coffeehouse, USA
I’m sitting inside at a table by the window peering out onto snow-covered sidewalks and tables. It is frigid outside this time of year, but quite warm in the “space between”. You know, the space between Thanksgiving and Christmas that feels suspended in time as we hustle from event to event with our annual Christmas cookies in tow.
This is the time of year I seek to reconnect with all of my friends that have disappeared over the year. And THIS is the place to meet them … my corner coffeehouse with shiny decorations, jazzy holiday tunes and friendly baristas.
Life is grand and friends are priceless.

Bags of beans were piled high in the corner awaiting roasting. The fresh scones in the pastry case were ready to please the pallet of the next taker. The space was inviting and I was greeted with a friendly smile and could tell in an instant that these folks were passionate about their business.
They are two years in, and are already making an impact in their community by offering a roast that has been specially selected to meet the expectations of their demographic that is sweet, rich and not bitter.
If I understand correctly, they are participating in a gathering of Southern roasters in a couple of weeks to share and collaborate. To find out more contact them at Grassroots Coffee.
Dig it!
KISS Coffeehouse … by the real Gene Simmons?
Yes! So “Shout it Outloud”!
Opened 5 years ago in Myrtle Beach, SC this rock n roll coffeehouse is truly one of a kind, at least for now.
Dot dot dot. Manager John said that Gene looooves to make money, so next time you’re in Beijing you just might see it!
Australian holidayers, Ben and Kylie, stopped in after their week long KISS cruise! (Yes, really!)
